History
Founded in 1997 by James R. Varrell, MD, CFG Health Network began with a mission to serve the behavioral health needs of individuals, families, and communities. CFG Residentials was established to address the behavioral health needs of youth in the community.
This effort became more specialized when CFG partnered with the New Jersey Juvenile Justice Commission. This partnership created The Concept Program which was designed for emotionally disturbed children assigned to the New Jersey Training School for Boys located in Jamesburg, NJ.
As CFG evolved, more programs were added. In January of 2006, the Insight and Excel programs were created. These programs gave our CFG family a unique footprint in behavioral health through the quality of service and commitment to a common cause. The logical progression of all these focused efforts is the formation of an organization that is solely devoted to superior clinical services delivered in a residential setting.
On January 1, 2011, CFG Residentials, LLC was formed to embody and carry forth the collective mission of these needed and unique services. We now are positioned to promote our mission statement and core values. CFG Residentials, LLC allows us to have our own identity while still remaining connected to the CFG Health Network.
